Multi-skilled Shift Engineer (Electrical bias)
Location: Harlow, Essex
Salary: Up to £48,000 + overtime
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off (Days & Nights) 07:0019:00 / 19:00-07:00

My client is a major FM company who are recruiting a Multi-skilled Shift Engineer to work on a worldwide client contract for a building based in Harlow, managing M&E and building systems.

This is an excellent opportunity for a strong, technically capable maintenance engineer ready to step into a high-profile commercial site.

The Role

As Multi-skilled Shift Engineer, you will:

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across landlord building services
• Take ownership of electrical systems including LV distribution, plant, and associated infrastructure
• Supervise contractors and ensure all works are completed safely and compliantly
• Respond to faults, incidents, and alarms within a critical environment
• Maintain accurate records using site systems and permits to work

About You

We are looking for candidates who:

• Hold electrical qualifications (Level 3 considered if technically strong)
• Have solid experience working within commercial building services
• Are confident fault-finding across electrical and wider M&E systems
• Can lead by example on shift and take responsibility for site operations
• Are professional, reliable, and safety-focused

High Voltage experience is not essential HV training will be provided after 3 months.
