Job Title: Electrical Engineer (Commercial Mobile)

Location: North London
Salary: Up to £46,000 per annum (Base)
Package: Door-to-Door Travel + Company Van (Personal Use Allowed)
Hours: Monday Friday, 40 hours per week

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a growing building services team covering North London. This role offers long-term stability, excellent earning potential, and personal use of a company van. You will carry out a mixture of planned and reactive maintenance across a portfolio of commercial properties, with strong opportunities for training and progression.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on electrical building services systems.

• Inspect, test, and maintain electrical plant including:

• Lighting & emergency lighting

• Power distribution & 3-phase equipment

• Consumer units, switchgear, and control panels

• Motors, pumps, and associated electrical assets

Perform electrical fault-finding and repair work efficiently.Complete Minor Works and provide relevant electrical certification.Ensure all work complies with BS 7671 and site health and safety procedures.Maintain accurate documentation, service records, and job sheets.Coordinate with other engineers and site staff to deliver high service standards.Travel to client sites across North London (door-to-door paid).

Requirements

• Experience working in commercial, retail, education, or corporate environments.
• Recognised electrical qualifications such as City & Guilds / NVQ Level 23, 18th Edition, and 2391OR AM2.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently.
• Strong fault-finding skills and a proactive, customer-focused mindset.
• Full UK driving licence.
