Role Description:

BPSS and SC/SC eligibleGoAnywhere MFT Architect/Subject Matter Expert (SME) with hands on technical experience. Will be responsible for the design, build and configuration of the GoAnywhere Managed File Transfer product within a highly available, on premises Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) environment.

The role focuses on secure file transfer between segregated security domains, specifically CNI to Enterprise environments, operating under strict connectivity constraints. The SME will deliver low level designs, build documentation, and perform the end to end implementation of the platform within a VMware based virtual infrastructure, aligned to enhanced CAF and CIS 2 security standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure GoAnywhere MFT solutions for on premises.
• Validate High-Level Designs (HLD) and Produce Low Level Design (LLD), and Build documentation.
• Deploy, configure, and harden GoAnywhere MFT, including:
• Secure protocols (SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS)
• TLS configuration and certificate management
• User access control, authentication, and auditing
• Automation workflows and scheduling
• Design and implement cross domain file transfer patterns, ensuring restricted connectivity.
• Integrate the solution into a core services (multi-domains, rbac, certificates, logging and monitoring).
• Work with Enterprise teams to configure destination source, expected to be SharePoint.
• Apply security best practices aligned to CAF and CIS 2, including encryption, least privilege access, logging, and auditability.
• Conduct testing and remediations activities where required.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven hands on experience with GoAnywhere Managed File Transfer (on premises).
• Strong understanding of secure MFT architectures in closed or segregated network environments.
• Ability to integrate with SharePoint and external platforms.
• Experience producing and maintaining HLD, LLD, and build documentation.
• Strong understanding of CNI, security controls and best practices, particularly for data transfer platforms.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical teams
