An exciting opportunity for a Junior Project Engineer to join a team delivering automated manufacturing systems used across automotive and advanced engineering environments.

This role is ideal for a mechanically minded Junior Project Engineer early in their career who wants hands-on experience with automation systems, robotics and project delivery.

Youll work alongside experienced engineers while developing toward Project Engineer and Project Manager roles.

The Role

• Support engineers across the full automation project lifecycle
• Work with mechanical drawings, layouts and 3D CAD models
• Assist with automation system build, testing and commissioning
• Coordinate with design, controls, robotics and installation teams
• Support site visits, installs and technical queries

What Were Looking For

• Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in automation
• Ability to read mechanical drawings
• Hands-on mindset with good problem-solving skills
• Strong teamwork and communication
• Ambition to develop into Project Engineering

Desirable:

• Experience in manufacturing, automation or automotive environments
• Exposure to robotics, fixtures or automated machinery

Qualifications

• Level 4+ in Mechanical Engineering, Automation or Manufacturing
• Mechanical apprenticeship also considered
