A leading building services consultancy is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join their growing team in London. This role offers exposure to diverse, technically challenging projects, flexible working arrangements, and long-term development within a collaborative engineering environment.
The consultancy delivers full Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health (MEP/MEPH) engineering design services across a variety of sectors, producing coordinated, buildable solutions grounded in a strong understanding of real-world construction. Their project portfolio includes commercial developments, educational facilities, leisure schemes, swimming pool complexes and entertainment centres

Your new role
You will take responsibility for delivering electrical building services design from concept to completion, including:

• Preparing electrical design drawings, schedules and specifications
• Supporting acquisition, condition and dilapidation surveys
• Contributing to 2D/3D modelling and BIM-aligned design coordination workflows
• Working closely with internal and external teams to deliver practical, compliant, build-ready design solutions

What you’ll need to succeed

• Proven experience in electrical building services design
• Strong understanding of industry standards and best practice
• Ability to produce high-quality technical documentation
• Familiarity with BIM processes and modern design tools
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach
