We are seeking experienced Dimensional Systems Engineers to join our team, supporting a major OEM programme and ensuring best in class dimensional quality from concept through launch.

In this role, you will take full responsibility for the Dimensional Quality lifecycle-covering feasibility, measurement strategy, tolerancing, tooling alignment, build support and dimensional maturation for new vehicle programmes. You’ll work at the cutting edge of automotive body structures and assembly systems, influencing design and driving product excellence.
Agile & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Tooling, Build & Commissioning
* Participate in tooling design reviews, ensuring standards are met and locator accuracy is maintained.
* Support build events-including weekday and occasional weekend coverage-ensuring dimensional quality targets are achieved.
* Develop commissioning plans for each build phase, including measurement programme validation.
* Own the dimensional performance of allocated systems/zones, reporting progress via standardised roadmaps.
What We’re Looking For
* Strong background in Dimensional Engineering, ideally within the automotive sector.
* Proficiency in GD&T, CATIA V6, tolerance analysis and measurement systems.
* Experience with BIW, closures or automotive assembly systems.
* Problem-solver with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced Agile environment and support onsite build phases.
