Astute’s Contract team is working with a well-established energy from waste business for an Electric Engineer contract role for their renewable energy plant in South London.

The Electrical Engineer will be Inside IR35 with a day rate between £350-£450 per day.

This contract will be bridging the gap till a permanent hire joins the team. Contract duration could be anywhere from 2 months - 6 months. After, there is potential to move into the Project team on an ad-hoc basis.

Key Skills Required for the role:

• Diagnose, repair and maintain electrical systems, including motors, PLCs, control panels, sensors and circuits.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on electrical equipment.
• Perform fault-finding and troubleshoot complex electrical issues in a timely manner.

Must have’s:

• A recognised engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, HNC or equivalent)
• 17th / 18th Edition wiring regulations certified
• Full UK Driving License
