Role - Maintenance Engineer - Electrical Bias

Salary - £59,280k + overtime

Location - Leeds

My client is an international family run business who have been established since 1994. They are a cash rich profitable firm who are expanding their business due to continuous investments - they have re-invested 90-95% of their companywide profits

They employ circa 4,000 people in over 150 locations globally and runs a highly technical heavy-industry environment with large mobile plant equipment including granulators, shredders, bulldosers and much more.

As the Electrical bias Maintenance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the maintenance of all machinery across the plant operating a permanent night shift.

Key duties for the Electrical bias Maintenance Engineer:

The machinery on-site is designed specifically for their industry, making it one of the few capable of handling their products. Our client offers an incredibly detailed training plan to ensure your confidence and success in the role. Your day-to-day will include:

• Maintaining an organized PPM schedule.
• Handling reactive maintenance tasks.
• Preparing handovers and shift reports.
• Ability to read, interpret and mark up electrical drawings.

Successful Candidate: We’re seeking a Electrical bias Maintenance Engineer with a keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to safety:

• Engineering qualifications at Level 3+ or equivalent.
• Excellent mechanical fault finding skills including working on pneumatics, pipework’s, sealers, hydraulics and much more
• Ability to electrically fault find, working with sensors, relays, contactors and able to swap out like for like
