Kubernetes Engineer/Senior DevOps Engineer

Location: London

We’re looking for a skilled Kubernetes Engineer/Senior DevOps Engineer to design, build and optimise scalable, cloud-native platforms. If you’re passionate about automation, containers and modern cloud infrastructure, this role offers the chance to shape high-availability systems used across a growing engineering organisation.

What you’ll be doing

• Designing and implementing Kubernetes clusters in cloud environments
• Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Developing Helm charts and Kubernetes manifests
• Managing service mesh solutions and ingress controllers
• Monitoring and optimising cluster performance, security and scalability
• Ensuring high availability, resilience and disaster-recovery strategies
• Supporting developers with containerisation and deployment troubleshooting
• Maintaining Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform)
• Driving improvements across the Kubernetes and cloud ecosystem

What we’re looking for

Top skills (in order of importance):

1. Kubernetes (CKA desirable)
2. Cloud experience (AWS/Azure/GCP)
3. Container technologies (Docker, container orchestration)

You’ll also need:

• Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.)
• Strong understanding of networking concepts (DNS, load balancing, Firewalls)
• Experience implementing secure, scalable cloud-native platforms
• Solid knowledge of CI/CD tooling and DevOps best practices

Nice to have:

• GitOps tooling (ArgoCD, Flux)
• Serverless technologies and cloud-native patterns
• Scripting skills (Python, Bash, Go, etc.)
• Understanding of DevSecOps principles
