SAP BI Developer - Outside IR35 - Manchester

TalentBank Technology is supporting an organisation within the FMCG sector to engage an experienced SAP BI Developer on an initial 3-month contract.

This role will support the development and optimisation of the organisation’s SAP Business Intelligence landscape, working closely with SAP application teams and data owners to deliver high-quality reporting and analytics solutions. The successful consultant will play a key role in data modelling, BW optimisation, and SAC reporting, ensuring SAP BI solutions support operational and strategic decision-making across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SAP BW reporting and data models to support Business Intelligence initiatives.
• Design and optimise process chains, queries, and BW jobs to improve system performance.
• Work with SAP application teams and data owners to identify and resolve data issues.
• Deliver SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) dashboards and reporting solutions.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation aligned with SAP development best practices.

Required Experience

• Strong experience delivering SAP BI/SAP BW development projects.
• Hands-on experience with SAP BW data modelling, process chains, and query design.
• Experience building SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) dashboards and reporting.
• Strong understanding of ETL processes including data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Experience analysing and optimising BW performance and job scheduling.
