Position Overview We are looking for a proactive and skilled DevOps Engineer to support the development, automation, and reliability of our infrastructure and application platforms. You will work closely with development and IT teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing systems . Key Responsibilities Design, build, and optimise CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps. Manage cloud and on-premise infrastructure across Azure, AWS, or GCP. Configure and monitor telemetry: metrics, logs, and platform reliability . Develop and maintain automation and DevOps tooling . Apply security best practices and ensure compliance alignment. Support deployments and resolve production issues efficiently. Qualifications and Experience 3-4 years previous experience minimum in DevOps or platform engineering roles. Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps). Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP). Containerisation expertise: Docker and Kubernetes. Proficient in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell. Strong understanding of networking, systems, and security practices . Experience working in Agile/DevOps environments . Eligibility for UK Security Clearance . Personal Specification Essential: CI/CD pipeline development experience. Cloud infrastructure management experience. Containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes) skills. Scripting and automation experience. Knowledge of networking, systems, and security fundamentals. Beneficial: Experience in cyber security-focused organisations . Exposure to regulated environments or compliance frameworks. Previous experience in platform reliability or DevSecOps functions.
