Full Stack Java Software Engineer - Java, Spring, TypeScript, Node.js, RESTful APIs, SQL, NoSQL, Docker, Kubernetes, IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation), CI/ CD - Remote (Warrington) - £70-80k

My client has an urgent need for a Full Stack Java Software Engineer to join a rapidly-expanding and talented Engineering team. You will play a key role in the design and build of scalable, cloud-native applications across the full stack, working with microservices and automated delivery pipelines.

Full Stack Java Software Engineer Role and Responsibilities:

• Design and build high-quality, scalable, full stack Java-based software solutions

• Build Java/ Spring microservices and backend APIs for a variety of customer needs

• Develop both frontend and backend services using TypeScript, Node.js

• Build suitable infrastructure using Terraform/ CloudFormation and implement cloud-native and serverless architectures

• Build reliable and robust database solutions using both SQL and NoSQL

Full Stack Java Software Engineer Skills and Experience:

• In-depth software development expertise with Java and Spring/ Spring Boot

• Substantial experience building services using TypeScript and Node.js

• Detailed, hands-on knowledge of building microservices architecture and RESTful APIs

• Strong database experience within both SQL and NoSQL environments

• A thorough knowledge of both IaC (Terraform/ CloudFormation) and CI/ CD pipelines

• Experience with Golang, Rust and/ or Python would be ideal.

My client has an outstanding engineering culture and a focus on outcomes and you will work in cross-functional teams with leading-edge ways of working and an enlightened view of collaboration. This role is based remotely with very occasional (optional) visits to the companys headquarters to meet the rest of the team
