Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm

Building Services Engineer – Euston – £36,000

We are currently recruiting for a Building Services Engineer to join a well-established maintenance team at a commercial site in Euston, London. This is an excellent opportunity for an electrically, mechanically, or fabric-biased engineer looking to develop their career within a supportive and progressive environment.

Working Monday to Friday (8am–5pm), this role offers a great work-life balance along with overtime opportunities and long-term career progression.

Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works

*

Electrical, mechanical, and general fabric maintenance

*

Basic fault finding on electrical and mechanical systems

*

Maintenance of lighting, power, pumps, motors, AHUs, FCUs, and plumbing systems

*

General building fabric tasks (door repairs, basic carpentry, painting, etc.)

*

Escorting subcontractors and ensuring work is completed to standard

*

Ensuring compliance with health & safety procedures

*

Completing job sheets and maintenance reports

Requirements:

*

NVQ / City & Guilds Level 2 or 3 in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (preferred but not essential with experience)

*

Previous experience in commercial building maintenance

*

Good all-round building services knowledge (electrical, mechanical or fabric bias)

*

Strong problem-solving skills

*

Good communication and team-working ability

*

Proactive and reliable approach to work
