Senior Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Installation Engineer

Salary: £32,000 £40,000 basic + overtime + benefits

Lead Installation Engineer Role

As the business continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced Senior Installation Engineer who wants to take pride in their work, contribute ideas, and help develop the next generation of engineers.

The Role

This is more than just an installation role. You will play a key part in delivering high-quality refrigeration and air conditioning installations while helping to mentor and develop other engineers within the team.

You will work closely with the Managing Director and wider team to ensure projects are delivered to the highest possible standard, safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Install refrigeration and air conditioning systems across commercial and domestic sites
• Lead installations of cold rooms, freezer rooms and cellar cooling systems
• Build cold rooms from panels and install associated refrigeration equipment
• Install AC systems, heat recovery ventilation and commercial ventilation systems
• Work closely with clients and colleagues to deliver installations with minimal disruption
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company H&S standards
• Complete job documentation using the companys digital job management system
• Support the development of operational procedures and service standards
• Coach and mentor trainee engineers where required

Essential Requirements

• F-Gas Certification
• NVQ Level 2 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (or equivalent experience)
• Strong technical ability to plan, install and commission systems
• Experience installing refrigeration equipment and cold rooms
• Good IT skills and ability to use mobile job management systems

Desirable

• CSCS Card
• PASMA / IPAF
• Asbestos Awareness
• Experience with VRV systems, chillers or AHUs
• Experience mentoring or training junior engineers
