The Opportunity
Proactive Staff are representing an established fire protection company, seeking an experienced ANSUL Fire Suppression Engineer to join their growing team. Covering Birmingham this is a field-based role servicing commercial kitchen fire suppression systems for clients across hospitality, facilities management, and commercial sectors.

£35k basic salary

Call-out rota with additional payments

Key Responsibilities
Service, maintain and repair ANSUL R-102 kitchen fire suppression systems
Carry out system inspections and routine maintenance in accordance with industry standards
Diagnose faults and perform repairs on suppression equipment
Complete installation and commissioning works where required
Provide accurate service reports and documentation electronically
Participate in a call-out rota to support emergency works both in and out of hours

Requirements
Experience working with ANSUL or kitchen fire suppression systems
CSCS or equivalent
If applicable and subject to qualifications, service and install portable fire extinguishers to British and Europeans standards.
Background in fire suppression, fire protection, or related field engineering roles
Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Full UK driving licence
Ability to work independently in a field-based role

Location Coverage
This role will cover Birmingham and surrounding areas, with occasional travel. On rare occasions the role may require lodging away for short periods.
