Are you passionate about helping organisations modernise, adopt cloud at scale, and build future-ready digital platforms? We’re looking for a Cloud & Platform Engineering Advisory Consultant to join a forward-thinking technology and transformation team driving major change across the UK.

In this role, you’ll partner with senior stakeholders-often at C-suite level-to shape cloud strategies, advise on complex transformation programmes, and translate real-world business challenges into innovative, practical, and secure cloud solutions.

What you’ll be doing

• Advising senior leaders on large-scale cloud and platform engineering transformation programmes.
• Building strong, long-term relationships with clients and internal teams.
• Designing technical strategies and solution approaches across cloud, automation, and modern engineering practices.
• Representing the advisory function in strategic forums and contributing to thought leadership.
• Collaborating across multidisciplinary teams, supporting knowledge sharing, mentoring, and continuous improvement.

What you’ll bring

• Hands-on experience designing and implementing cloud solutions using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud (certifications beneficial).
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Strong understanding of platform engineering, cloud operating models, automation, containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes), and FinOps.
• Ability to translate business needs into scalable, secure, user-centric cloud solutions.
• Excellent communication skills and a consultative approach.
• A growth mindset with a passion for continuous learning, innovation, and collaboration.
