JOB- AI Engineer

LOCATION- London (Hybrid 2 days per week in the office)

TERM- Permanent

SALARY- £70,000 to £100,000 per annum (plus benefits)

My client is an innovative fintech company developing intelligent, data-driven products to improve financial services and decision-making. They are looking to expand their technology team by hiring an AI Engineer to work on building and deploying machine learning and AI-powered solutions from their London office.

The AI Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

Knowledge / experience in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or Data Science

A degree qualification (BSc, MSc, PhD etc.) in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics, Data Science or similar

Strong programming skills in Python

Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn

Experience working with large datasets and building data pipelines

Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure

Experience developing and deploying AI/ML models into production environments

Understanding of APIs, microservices, and modern software development practices

Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative engineering team

Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)

Keen to develop technically and grow within a fast-paced fintech environment

The AI Engineer role will involve:

Working within the existing engineering and data teams to develop AI-driven products

Designing, building, and deploying machine learning models

Developing data pipelines and preparing datasets for model training

Optimising model performance and monitoring production systems

Collaborating with software engineers to integrate AI solutions into applications

Researching and implementing new AI techniques to improve product capabilities
