We are looking for an experienced Associate Electrical Engineer to join our Manchester team and support the delivery of complex and challenging engineering projects. In this role, you will provide technical leadership and expertise in electrical engineering, working as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver innovative and sustainable solutions across a range of infrastructure and building projects.
You will play a key role in leading project delivery, supporting team development, and strengthening client relationships, while contributing to the continued growth of our electrical engineering capability.
Your Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and delivery of electrical engineering solutions for a variety of infrastructure and building projects.
Provide technical guidance, review and approval of electrical designs, specifications and calculations.
Ensure engineering solutions comply with relevant standards, regulations and best practice.
Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality project outcomes.
Manage project tasks, resources and schedules to support successful project delivery.
Provide mentoring and technical support to engineers and technicians within the team.
Support client engagement and business development activities, including proposals and bids.
Contribute to the development and growth of the electrical engineering team.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
Chartered Engineer status (CEng), or be working towards chartership.
Significant experience in electrical engineering design within infrastructure, energy or building services projects.
Strong technical capability with experience in leading engineering design and project delivery.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
The ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary engineering teams.
