With consistent growth, our client has created an exciting opportunity for a Design Engineer to join their growing design team based in South Manchester.

Role & Responsibilities:

Generating detailed 2D and 3D general arrangement and fabrication drawings from quotations using the company’s build specification and components data sheets.

*

Creating detailed raw material and parts list using Microsoft Excel

*

Ensuring project traceability is maintained via drawing registers, customer approval records and

parts/servicing list.

*

Working on multiple projects at one time.

*

Working closely with suppliers and fabricators.

Knowledge and Skills Required:

The ideal candidate will require the following skills and experience.

*

Experience of design in a similar industry or structural engineering.

*

HNC/HND in an engineering discipline.

*

Knowledge of AutoCAD 2D/3D

*

Knowledge of design, engineering and AutoCAD standards.

*

Knowledge of Microsoft Office – Specifically Microsoft Excel.

*

Clean driving licence (some points acceptable)

Hands-on experience and knowledge of manufacture process is advantag
