Experience: C# and .NET Core, with a solid understanding of backend development principles. Microservices and event-driven architectures alongside RESTful APIs. Azure cloud services including Azure Entra & AppInsights and general authentication/authorisation practices. Containerisation, automation, and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker). CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices including Infrastructure As Code (IaC) and observability such as metrics, monitoring, traces and alerting. Test-first mindset and able to lead other engineers on what good looks like regarding unit/integration testing, end-to-end (E2E) testing and contract testing with libraries and frameworks such as XUnit, Playwright and PACT.
