Overview
We are looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to join a growing Digital Platform team within a technology-driven organisation expanding internationally.
This role sits within a modern platform squad responsible for building, improving, and maintaining a customer-facing web platform built on a Next.js stack. The organisation is investing heavily in platform quality, developer experience, CI/CD, testing, and observability to support long-term scalability.
You will contribute to strengthening the platform that enables multiple product squads to deliver features reliably and release with confidence.
This is a hands-on engineering role with strong opportunities to grow technically and gain exposure to platform thinking, modern tooling, and large-scale web delivery.
The Role
Working as part of a multidisciplinary squad, you will help deliver improvements across the web platform, contributing to architecture, building new capabilities, and supporting reliable releases.
You will collaborate closely with senior engineers while taking ownership of well-defined areas, helping improve testing, CI pipelines, observability, and overall developer workflows.
The role suits an engineer who enjoys solving practical platform problems, building scalable web applications, and continuously improving how teams deliver software.
Key Responsibilities
Contribute to the development and evolution of a modern Next.js web platform
Build and maintain scalable full stack features across the application
Break down technical requirements into deliverable tasks
Support improvements to CI/CD pipelines and release processes
Help strengthen testing approaches, including automation and visual testing
Contribute to platform observability, monitoring, and analytics reliability
Support integrations with multiple SaaS products and services
Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver roadmap work
Write maintainable, well-documented, secure code following engineering best practices
Participate in continuous improvement of developer tooling and workflows
Skills & Experience Required
Commercial experience with React, Next.js, and Node.js
Experience building production web applications
Understanding of scalable frontend and full stack architecture principles
Experience working with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions)
Familiarity with automated testing practices
Experience working in agile, multidisciplinary teams
Strong attention to detail and code quality
Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly
Desirable Experience
Next.js advanced features
TypeScript
Jest, Playwright, or other testing frameworks
Storybook / component systems
Observability or monitoring tools (e.g., Datadog or similar)
Analytics or tracking implementations (e.g., GTM exposure)
Experience integrating SaaS platforms and APIs
Algolia or search platforms
GraphQL
Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Exposure to visual regression testing (e.g., Percy)
Experience using AI tooling to improve developer productivity
