Position: Electrical Shift Engineer
Location: City of London
Salary: £60,000 per annum + Overtime
Hours: Continental Shift Pattern (Days & Nights)
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical Shift Engineer to join the on-site engineering team at a high-profile commercial facility in the City of London. This role offers the chance to work in a technically challenging environment with a prestigious organisation known for its excellent training programmes and clear progression opportunities.

What youll do:

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive electrical maintenance across a wide range of building services plant.
• Perform fault finding and repairs on electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, emergency lighting, control panels, and associated plant.
• Assist with the safe operation and maintenance of critical electrical infrastructure across the site.
• Ensure all systems operate safely, efficiently, and in line with compliance and statutory regulations.
• Respond promptly to breakdowns and support the wider engineering team to minimise downtime.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure all work is completed to a high professional standard.
• Support small project works, system upgrades, and continuous improvement tasks when required.

What youll bring:

• City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent electrical qualification.
• Experience working within commercial building services or facilities maintenance.
• Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• HV Authorised Person status or experience working around HV systems (desirable).
• A proactive and professional approach with strong communication skills.
