Job Purpose: You will be the Council’s technical lead for networks and telephony, managing a team of 3rd line technical staff. You will be a subject matter expert for LAN, WLAN, and Azure\Data Centre networking, providing technical oversight of firewall and WAN infrastructure, as well as telephony. You will have extensive experience in managing a team that is responsible for networks for a large organisation. You will manage the overall provision of service, including the elements carried out in house and those carried out by external suppliers. You will deliver a high quality, efficient and effective service to end users that delivers desired customer service experience and improves customer satisfaction.
