A Maintenance Engineer/ Mechanical Maintenance Engineer/ Electrical Maintenance Engineer is required for a leading manufacturer based in Birmingham.

The A Maintenance Engineer/ Mechanical Maintenance Engineer/ Electrical Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, reliability, and safety of all factory machinery, plant equipment, and facilities. This is a hands-on role focused on preventative maintenance, fault finding, and continuous improvement to maximise uptime and support production efficiency.

Package:

• Paying up to £48,000
• Week A: 7-4 Monday to Thursday and Friday 8-1
• Week B: 11-8 Monday to Thursday and Friday 8-1
• Ongoing training and development opportunities

Maintenance Engineer Role:

• Carry out routine maintenance and repairs across factory machinery.
• Fault-finding and troubleshooting to minimise downtime and improve equipment reliability.
• Support equipment installations and commissioning of new machinery.
• Be able to commute to Birmingham and are happy to travel
• Strong capabilities in both Mechanical and Electrical

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer/ Mechanical Maintenance Engineer/ Electrical Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing or production environment
• Recognised qualifications inMechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and robotic systems desirable.
• Strong understanding of TPM / PPM systems, health and safety procedures, and contractor management
• Be able to commute to Birmingham and are happy to travel
