I recruit within the electronic security industry and Im currently supporting a well-established, NSI & BAFE approved security provider operating from a regional office covering the High Wycombe area.

Theyre looking to add an experienced Security Engineer to their team to carry out a mix of installation, preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown (call-out) work. This is a full-time, permanent position offering strong earning potential and long-term stability.

The Role

Youll be field-based, working across a range of electronic security systems, with responsibilities including:

• Installation of intruder alarm systems
• Planned preventative maintenance visits
• Fault finding and reactive breakdowns
• Occasional servicing cover during holiday or sickness periods
• Carrying out small associated remedial electrical works where required

This role suits an engineer who is confident fault finding, organised in their approach and comfortable working independently.

What Theyre Looking For

• Proven experience installing and servicing intruder alarm systems
• Background within the electronic security industry
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Knowledge of Risco intruder systems highly beneficial
• Experience with Access Control, CCTV and Fire Alarms advantageous
• Reliable, self-motivated and keen to continue learning
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Minimum 1 year experience with electronic security and/or fire systems
• Full UK driving licence

Salary, Travel & Benefits

• Basic salary from £40,000 upwards, dependent on experience
• Overtime available
• Call-out rota included

Travel:
Any travel exceeding 1 hour to site and 1 hour from site is paid as overtime.

Holiday entitlement:

• 20 days holiday, rising to 25 days with length of service
