Lead Analytics Consultant - Permanent - Remote (UK) with occasional travel to London - £75,000 - £90,000
Are you an experienced Lead Analytics Consultant with a strong background in data engineering, Business Intelligence and cloud-based analytics solutions?

The position combines hands-on technical expertise with client advisory and project leadership, supporting the design and delivery of scalable, cloud-based analytics platforms.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert advisory support to clients on advanced analytics and data engineering best practices
- Lead analytics engagements from requirements gathering through to solution design and implementation
- Design and deliver cloud-based data engineering and Business Intelligence solutions
- Develop interactive dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI or similar tools
- Lead data modelling, transformation, and ETL/ELT pipeline development
- Design scalable data architectures and analytics platforms
- Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver solutions aligned to business objectives
- Support and guide team members while ensuring successful project delivery
Skills and Experience
- Demonstrable experience designing and delivering cloud-based data engineering and analytics solutions
- Extensive experience in a client-facing consulting role, ideally within a consultancy or systems integrator
- Proven track record of leading teams or delivering analytics projects
- Strong hands-on experience with Python and SQL
- Experience with data integration tools such as Azure Data Factory
- Familiarity with modern data platforms including Microsoft Fabric and/or Databricks
- Expertise in data visualisation and analytics tools such as Power BI, QlikView or Tableau
- Strong experience in data modelling, transformation, ETL/ELT pipelines and data warehousing
- Awareness or experience with Big Data, Data Science, AI or Machine Learning technologies
- Excellent communication, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
