We are working with a growing family-run business specialising in solar farm security infrastructure. Due to continued expansion, they are looking for a Junior Field Engineer to join their specialist team installing and commissioning security and electrical systems across solar farms throughout the UK.

What you’ll be doing
As a Junior Project Engineer, you’ll work alongside experienced engineers installing and supporting security and electrical systems on solar farm projects across the UK.
Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting with groundworks and small excavations
* Installing poles, electrical boxes and system infrastructure
* Supporting with electrical wiring and Cat6/Cat7 cabling
* Assisting with CCTV cameras and access control systems
* Conducting site testing and commissioning activities
* Helping identify and resolve faults on site
* Supporting engineers with installation and system setupYou’ll receive on-the-job training and the opportunity to develop within a growing renewables business.
What we’re looking for
This role would suit someone who enjoys hands-on work and site environments.
We’re particularly interested in candidates with experience in areas such as:
Construction or site labouring
* Electrical mates or junior electricians
* Telecoms / fibre / cabling installation
* CCTV or security system installation
* Groundworks or civils workEssential requirements:
Full UK driving licence
* Willingness to travel across the UK and work outdoors
* Comfortable with physical, practical workDesirable:
CSCS or ECS card
* Basic electrical knowledgeWhat’s on offer
