Overview:

We are looking for aProduct Owner / Product Managerwith astrong background infintech, particularly inclient onboarding and customer journeys, to join their growing product team

My client is a leading player within thePayments space,with their modern office offering a bar, pool table and gym!

Youll play a key role in shaping, delivering, and optimising digital products that enable seamless onboarding and exceptional client experiences.

This role is ideal for someone who has around 2 + years of experience and is ready to take ownership of meaningful product areas while continuing to grow their skill set.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage the product roadmap for onboarding and client-facing products
• Translate business goals, regulatory requirements, and customer needs into clear product requirements
• Lead discovery, definition, and delivery of onboarding journeys across web and mobile platforms
• Act as the voice of the customer, ensuring a frictionless and compliant onboarding experience
• Write and prioritise user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog items
• Work closely with Engineering, Design, Compliance, Operations, and Commercial teams
• Facilitate sprint planning, backlog refinement, and stakeholder reviews
• Use data, customer feedback, and analytics to inform product decisions and continuous improvement
• Ensure products meet regulatory and compliance standards relevant to fintech (e.g. KYC, AML)
• Support go-to-market activities and post-launch optimisation

Required Experience & Skills

• 25 years experienceas a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar product role
• Proven experience working withinfintech or financial services
• Hands-on experience deliveringclient onboarding, KYC, account opening, or customer lifecycle products (Must have experience)
• Solid understanding of agile methodologies (Scrum / Kanban)
• Experience working with cross-functional delivery teams
• Ability to manage stakeholders and priorities effectively
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Comfortable working in a hybrid environment with regular office collaboration

Desirable

• Experience working in regulated environments
• Familiarity with KYC, AML, identity verification, or payments platforms
• Background in B2B or B2B2C fintech products
• Experience improving onboarding conversion, activation, or drop-off metrics
