Job Title: Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Location: Paisley, Glasgow

Salary: £45,000 - £49,00

Shift: Days and Nights (Mon-Fri)

Job Role of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

A great opportunity has arisen for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a supportive team in a fast-paced automated manufacturing environment. The company values teamwork, open communication, and a positive attitude just as much as technical skill.

You’ll be responsible for electrical and mechanical maintenance, fault finding, breakdown response, and planned preventative maintenance to maximise uptime. You’ll also support continuous improvement projects and machinery upgrades, working closely with production to drive safety and performance.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Multi-skilled maintenance experience within a manufacturing background
• Hands on experience with pre-planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance in fast paced industrial factory.
• Electrical or mechanical technical skills

Requirements for the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Electrical and mechanical fault-finding experience.
• Engineering qualification (Electrical or Mechanical)
• Experience working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Desirable Requirements for the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in the UK.
• Experience with working on PLC’s, ideally being able to fault find using inputs and outputs
• Mechancial experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, belts, bearings etc
• Electrical experience with 3phase, motors, drives, invertors
