RoleA leading engineering firm is expanding its team and seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to take full ownership of the design lifecycle from concept to commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design of precision rotating machinery.
• Manage concept development, 3D/2D CAD, calculations, testing, and validation.
• Liaise with clients and oversee projects through build and commissioning.

Technical Skills

• GD&T, limits and fits
• Bearings (rolling & plain)
• Servo motor drive lines and linear guide systems
• Creo/SolidWorks CAD & fabrication design

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
• Proven experience in machinery/equipment design
• Strong 3D CAD and engineering fundamentals
• Occasional travel required
