About the Company
Our client is an ambitious Managed Service Provider (MSP) renowned for delivering high-quality IT services and solutions. They help businesses optimise IT, enhance security, and ensure seamless connectivity. They’re seeking a talented 2nd Line IT Support Engineer with Project Delivery experience to join their team and deliver expert support and project solutions to clients.
About the Opportunity:
We are seeking a skilled IT Support Engineer to provide a blend of operational support and hands-on project delivery. This is not a purely reactive service desk role. * Administer user accounts, shared mailboxes, and distribution lists in Azure AD/Entra ID.
* Maintain documentation, user guides, and system configurations.
* Proactively manage endpoint performance, patching, and security (Defender, Intune, SCCM).
* Deliver IT projects: deployments, upgrades, migrations, and endpoint refreshes.
* Collaborate with first-line support and IT teams to enhance the end-user experience.
Your Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience in Windows desktop OS and MS 365 Teams support.
* Strong knowledge of M365 applications, SharePoint, and Power Automate.
* Experience with Intune, SCCM/MECM, Autopilot, and endpoint lifecycle management.
* Understanding of security best practices, patch management, and compliance.
* Familiarity with Mac devices, virtualisation, cloud platforms, and remote support tools.
* Excellent communication, able to explain technical concepts to all users.
* Able to work from technical designs, project plans, and change schedules.
* Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Modern Desktop Administrator, CompTIA A+) are desirable.
