A leading independent entrance‑systems company is looking for an experienced Door Engineer to cover a regional patch. The Door Engineer will receive a salary package of up to £46,000 along with some amazing benefits and the highest level of training & support. The Door Engineer will have experience working with all, or some of these products - automatic doors, industrial doors, shutters, gates, and barriers, carrying out service, repair, maintenance, and installations throughout the South West.
Door Engineer Role Overview:
* Carry out service and repair work as a Door Engineer on automatic doors, including dormakaba, Record, Geze, Tormax and Gilgen systems
* Work as a Door Engineer on industrial doors, shutters, sectional and high‑speed systems (GFA, LINL, Stertil, Hormann)
* Complete PPM, reactive callouts and EN16005‑compliant commissioning
* Digital job reporting + on‑call rota
What You Need
* Proven experience as a Door Engineer, Automatic Door Engineer or Industrial Door Engineer, Gate & Barrier or Access Control Systems Engineer
* Strong mechanical and electrical fault‑finding
* Full UK driving licence
* Flexible and adaptable experience across most door & entrance types
Desirable Qualifications
* EN16005 / BS7036
* CSCS / ECS
* IPAF / PASMA
* 18th Edition or equivalent electrical qualification
* Manufacturer training (Record, Geze, Dormakaba, Tormax, FAAC, etc.)
* Experience with shutters, gates or barriers
* Living in the South West of England
