Electrical Maintenance Engineer – Manufacturing Only, £54k, Mon–Fri, No Weekends
Salary: £52,000 – £54,000 DOE + overtime
Hours: Monday–Friday, 4-shift rotation (8–4 / 6–2 / 10–6 / 2–10)
Location: Static manufacturing site – no travel
Holidays: 33 days (including bank holidays)
Contract: Permanent, full-time
The Role
Are you an electrically biased Maintenance Engineer working in manufacturing and looking for stability, progression, and work-life balance? This is a rare chance to join a secure site-based team where you’ll work Monday to Friday only (no weekends), earn up to £54k, and have all further training paid for.
What You’ll Do
* Carry out electrical fault-finding, breakdown response, and repairs across plant and machinery
* Perform planned and predictive maintenance
* Support projects, installs, and continuous improvement work
* Work with PLCs (Siemens / Allen Bradley), VSDs, and other control systems
* Always maintain high safety and compliance standards
What We’re Looking For
* NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Maintenance (or time-served apprenticeship)
* Proven experience in a manufacturing environment (essential)
* Strong skills in electrical fault finding, PLC interrogation, and PPM
* A proactive, problem-solving mindset

Please note: Only applicants with direct manufacturing maintenance experience will be considered. Construction and self-employed electricians are not eligible.
