Jelly Technical is recruiting on behalf of a leading FMCG manufacturer for a Project Engineer to join an innovative team, within a business that creates cutting edge meal solutions into the UK food supply chain, across retail and food service.

This is an opportunity for a Project Engineer with a strong background in overseeing and managing small to medium sized CapEx projects.

As a Project Engineer your key responsibilities include:

• Managing multiple small to medium CapEx projects.
• Project budgetary control.
• Liaise and work with engineering & production to ensure effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Be the main point of contact with business stakeholders, attending meetings both internally and externally.
• Contractor management, ensuring all induction documentation is complete and safe and effective working is being adhered to.
• Communicate project progress to relevant stakeholders.

What You’ll Bring:

• Level 3 qualified in engineering as a minimum.
• Strong CAD experience.
• Experienced working in a projects-based role and confident working in a standalone capacity.
• Fast paced manufacturing experience - FMCG / Food would be a distinct advantage.
