Your new role
As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering electrical building services design across a diverse portfolio of projects. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, contribute to design development, mentor junior engineers, and ensure the delivery of high‑quality engineering solutions. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead electrical building services design from concept through to detailed stages.
• Produce and review design drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Work collaboratively with mechanical, sustainability, and structural engineering teams.
• Attend client meetings, conduct site visits, and support project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.
• Mentor and support junior/intermediate engineers within the team.
• Contribute to improving processes, design quality, and technical excellence within the department.

What you’ll need to succeed

• Proven experience in electrical building services engineering within a consultancy environment.
• Strong knowledge of UK building regulations, wiring regulations (BS 7671), and industry standards.
• Proficiency in relevant design software such as Amtech, Dialux/Relux, and CAD/Revit experience is beneficial.
• Ability to manage your own workload and lead elements of projects independently.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with clients and stakeholders.
• Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
• Chartered or working towards Chartership (IET/CIBSE) is advantageous.
