The Role What Youll Be Doing
As a Field Service Engineer, youll provide front-line engineering support across customer sites, ensuring equipment is:
- Installed and commissioned correctly
- Maintained to manufacturer standards
- Diagnosed and repaired efficiently
- Supported in line with agreed SLAs
Youll work onelectrical and mechanical systems, including payment terminals, barriers, ANPR systems, ticketing equipment and associated hardware.
Daily responsibilities include:
- Electrical and mechanical fault finding
- Installation and commissioning of new equipment
- First-line customer training on system use
- Reactive callouts and preventative maintenance
- Accurate service documentation and reporting
- Direct liaison with customers on-site
Youll report to the Technical Support Manager and play a key role in maintaining service excellence.
What Were Looking For
We want practical, hands-on engineers with strong diagnostic skills.
Ideal background includes:
- Field Service Engineer experience
- Electrical or electro-mechanical fault finding
- Experience with barriers, parking systems, EPOS, access control, vending, ticketing, EV charging, CCTV or similar equipment
- Methodical approach to diagnostics
- Strong customer-facing communication skills
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
- PC literate (Microsoft Office and digital job systems)
- Full UK driving licence (max 6 points)
- Willingness to attend Doncaster HQ for training when required
