Position: Shift Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Location: Cambridge Modern, State-of-the-Art Building
Hours: 4 on 4 off (Days & Nights, 7am7pm / 7pm7am)
Salary: £45,000 per annum + Overtime

The Role Overview

As the Shift Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering both planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive electrical maintenance across the building. Working on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (days and nights), you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and performance of all electrical and associated building systems.

What youll do:

• Carry out PPMs on electrical and building services systems
• Respond to and resolve reactive maintenance issues
• Perform fault finding and diagnostics on electrical systems
• Ensure full compliance with health & safety and statutory regulations
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across the site

What youll bring to the role:

• Recognised electrical qualifications
• Experience in commercial building maintenance
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively within a shift team environment
• Good understanding of compliance and safe systems of work
