A well-established regional electrical contractor in Northampton is seeking an Electrical Project Manager to oversee a strong pipeline of commercial and general contracting projects. This role is ideal for someone with solid project delivery experience who wants to take ownership, step up in responsibility, and progress within a supportive and growing business.

Role Overview

You will manage electrical projects from initial survey through to completion, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient delivery. Projects are commercial and general contracting focused no residential work. Applications are welcome from candidates with backgrounds in electrical contracting, M&E, or client-side estates/facilities. A Gold ECS Card is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate electrical projects from planning to handover.
• Attend site meetings, carry out surveys, and assess project requirements.
• Manage engineers, subcontractors, materials, and scheduling.
• Oversee budgets, variations, and client communication.
• Ensure compliance with electrical regulations and health & safety standards.
• Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Support continuous improvement and contribute to business growth.

Ideal Candidate

• Experience as an Electrical Project Manager or similar role.
• Strong understanding of commercial and general contracting electrical installations.
• Confident managing multiple projects and making decisions on site.
• Organised, proactive, and clear in communication.
• Holds a Gold ECS Card and a full UK driving licence.
• Ambitious and looking for long-term progression.
