Summary of the Electronic Bench Engineer - Components

Salary: Up to £40,000
Location: Northampton Type of Contract:permanent
Hours: 37.5 hour working week

Responsibilities of the Electronic Bench Engineer - Components

• Quickly fix defects and malfunctions.
• Fault finding issues with electronic equipment
• Anyalyse, measure, repair and test industrial electronics
• Diagnose and repair electronic equipment at the component level (ideally resistors - diodes on PCB boards) as well as motors and servos
• Testing and optimising repaired equipment.
• Soldering.
• Create and maintain technical documentation of work.

Requirements for a successful Electronic Bench Engineer - Components

• Previous Electronic Repair experience at the component level.
• Strong working knowledge of electronic components and drives/motors.
• Able to recognise malfunctions and errors in measuring and testing equipment.
• Driving licence required.
• Lift experience would be beneficial.
• Excellent communication skills with experience creating technical documentation.
