Asaskilledfieldservicecalibrationengineeryouwilljoinaworld-leadingmanufacturerwhodesignlargemachinepartsandsystemsusingrobotics/hydraulicsandpneumaticssupportingcustomersacrosstheUKandEurope.

Thisisanexcellentopportunityforsomeonewithastrongbackgroundinmechanical(bias)andelectrical(desirable)backgroundorqualifiedelectro-mechanical,mechatronicsorelectro-hydraulicsystems,whoenjoyssolvingcomplexproblemsandworkingdirectlywithcustomersonsite.

Location:Thisroleinvolvesaroughly50:50splitbetweenoffice-basedworkandtravel(withsomeflexibility).Ofthetravelportion,approximatelyhalfwillbewithin theUKandhalfinternational.

KeyResponsibilities

• Performcalibration,testing,andcertificationtoensureperformancecompliance.
• Provideon-siteserviceandcommissioningforcustomerinstallationsacrosstheUKandEurope.
• Diagnoseandrepairfaults,carryoutmaintenance,andinstallreplacementparts.
• Supportprojectteamsduringinstallationsandactasthetechnicalleadoncustomersites.
• Preparemethodstatements,riskassessments,andtechnicaldocumentation.
• Maintainstrongcustomerrelationshipsanddeliverprojectstoahighstandardandontime.
• Ensureallcalibrationtoolsandequipmentareproperlymaintainedandcompliant.

Qualifications&Experience

• Experienceinfieldservice,calibration,orcommissioning.
• HND/DegreeinEngineering(orequivalent).
• Backgroundinmechanical(preferred),electro-mechanical,electrical,ormechatronicengineering.
• Experienceusingdiagnosticandcalibrationtools.
• StrongunderstandingofHealth&Safetyinon-siteenvironments.
• Abilitytointerpretengineeringdrawingsandtechnicaldocuments.
• GoodITskillsMSWord,Excel,Outlook,PowerPoint.
• WillingnesstotravelacrosstheUKandoccasionallyabroad
