Drainage Engineer Field-Based
Location: Leeds
Type:Permanent, Full-Time
Hours:Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM 5:00 PM
Salary: £30,000 per year plus commission, OTE £45,000+ pa

We are looking for an experienced and customer-focusedDrainage Engineerto join our growing team in aclient-facing, field-basedrole. Youll attend domestic and commercial properties, diagnose and resolve drainage issues, and represent the business professionally on-site.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend both emergency and planned drainage jobs
• Investigate, diagnose, and resolve issues using CCTV surveys, high-pressure water jetting, rods, etc.
• Carry out drain clearance, descaling, root cutting, patch lining, and minor excavations
• Liaise directly with customers to explain issues and solutions
• Identify and recommend additional work where appropriate
• Maintain strict adherence to health and safety procedures
• Contribute to brand reputation with excellent service and technical knowledge
• Take part in an on-call rota to support 24/7 service delivery

What Were Looking For

• Minimum 1 years drainage experience (essential)
• Customer-facing experience with strong communication skills
• HPWJ certification preferred
• Plumbing knowledge and/or drainage tanker experience (desirable)
• Full, clean UK driving licence
• CSCS card (preferred)
• Comfortable using mobile apps and technology on-site
