The successful candidate will take ownership of end-to-end network delivery, primarily focused on network migration projects across data centre, WAN/LAN, SD-WAN and potentially cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, execute, and manage network delivery projects from initiation to completion.
• Should have good knowledge of network migrations, challenges in migration and taking ownership of network project management & delivery.
• Ensure timely delivery of network solutions within agreed SLAs and KPIs.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Act as the primary point of contact for internal teams and external vendors.
• Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders effectively.
• Oversee deployment, configuration, and optimization of network hardware and software.
• Ensure network designs meet performance, scalability, and security requirements.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and organizational security policies.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Proven experience in network migration projects (data center, WAN/LAN, SD-WAN, cloud).
• Strong understanding of networking technologies and protocols (TCP/IP, MPLS, VPN, BGP, OSPF).
• Experience with migration tools and methodologies.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and change management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven experience in network delivery or network project management.
• Strong understanding of networking technologies (LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, VPN, Firewalls, etc.).
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and project management methodologies (Agile, PMP).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage budgets and vendor relationships.

Contract Details:

• Duration: 6 months
• Rate: ~£375 per day (inside IR35)
