A Lead Maintenance Engineer/ Mechanical Maintenance Engineer/ Senior Maintenance Engineer is required for a leading manufacturer based inBirmingham.
The Lead Maintenance Engineer/ Mechanical Maintenance Engineer/ Senior Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, reliability, and safety of all factory machinery, plant equipment, and facilities. This is a hands-on role focused on preventative maintenance, fault finding, and continuous improvement to maximise uptime and support production efficiency.

Lead Maintenance Engineer Role:
- Carry out routine maintenance and repairs across factory machinery.
- Lead fault-finding and troubleshooting to minimise downtime and improve equipment reliability.
- Plan and implement TPM and PPM schedules, ensuring all maintenance activities are up to date.
- Support equipment installations and commissioning of new machinery.
- Be able to commute to Birmingham and are happy to travel
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Lead Maintenance Engineer/ Mechanical Maintenance Engineer/ Senior Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing or production environment
- Recognised qualifications inMechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and robotic systems desirable.
- Strong understanding of TPM / PPM systems, health and safety procedures, and contractor management
- Be able to commute to Birmingham and are happy to travel
