An innovative global engineering company is looking for a Field Service Engineer to support the installation, commissioning and ongoing service of advanced high-speed printing and converting equipment. Please note that this position involves Extensive UK & international travel.

This is an exciting, customer-facing role for a technically strong engineer who enjoys travel, problem-solving and working on complex machinery in real-world production environments. Whilst the organisation are based on the south coast, successful candidates can be based anywhere in the UK.

The Role:

You will deliver high-quality field service support for sophisticated machinery, working directly with customers to ensure maximum equipment performance and uptime.

Key responsibilities include:

• Diagnosing and resolving planned and unplanned maintenance issues
• Installing and commissioning advanced flexographic and digital presses
• Carrying out scheduled servicing and machine inspections
• Supporting machine testing and acceptance activities
• Identifying opportunities for spare parts, upgrades and service contracts
• Contributing to improvements in service processes and documentation

What Were Looking For:

• HNC, Degree or equivalent experience in electrical or mechanical engineering
• At least 3 years experience in a technical engineering role
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and customer-facing ability
• Self-motivated, reliable and able to work independently in the field
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively in the UK and overseas
