Role: Software Developer - Scala
Rate: £400 p/d (inc. fees)
Clearance: Active SC clearance required
Location: Remote
Contract: Initial 3-month engagement, starting ASAP

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Back End services using Scala
• Build and enhance Back End APIs
• Apply Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices to ensure code quality and reliability
• Collaborate with technical teams to deliver high-quality software solutions
• Support project deliverables and meet sprint objectives
• Contribute to technical discussions and ensure best practices are followed

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong commercial experience with Scala
• Experience designing and implementing Back End APIs
• Solid background in TDD
• Must hold Active SC clearance
• Ability to interview and start at short notice

Desirable

• Previous experience working within UK Government or other public-sector environments
