Salary: £85,000 - £95,000 (Dependent on Experience)

Our client is looking for a Senior AI Engineer to help shape and deliver the next generation of AI-driven solutions across their organisation.

This is a unique opportunity to join a business where AI is already Embedded in day-to-day operations, supporting hundreds of users through a growing portfolio of live use cases. You’ll build on this strong foundation to design, develop, and scale impactful solutions that solve real commercial challenges.

The successful candidate will take ownership of projects end-to-end - from understanding requirements and defining the technical approach, through to building, deploying, and measuring success in production. You’ll operate within a modern cloud and Generative AI ecosystem, working with cutting-edge tools to drive meaningful innovation at scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Help shape the AI roadmap across a range of use cases and technologies.
• Engage with stakeholders to understand processes, data, and identify high-value AI opportunities.
• Design, build, and deploy AI solutions into production environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, data engineers, developers, testers, and InfoSec to deliver scalable services in AWS.
• Contribute to the ongoing evolution of AI delivery as part of a wider Data Science & AI capability.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, helping to raise engineering standards.

Skills & Experience Required

• Demonstrated experience delivering AI/ML solutions into production with measurable business impact.
• A proactive, self-starting mindset with the ability to take solutions from concept through to deployment.
• Strong focus on engineering and productionisation rather than pure research.
• Experience working within cloud environments (AWS preferred) and modern AI/GenAI tooling.
• Ability to balance rapid delivery with longer-term capability building.
• Confident communicator, able to engage effectively with both technical teams and senior stakeholders.
• Comfortable working independently, refining project briefs, and delivering high-quality outcomes on time.
