Autodesk Plant 3D / Steam Systems / Industrial Piping

Our client is seeking an experienced Project Piping Design Engineer on a 12-month contract to support UK-based industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and develop P&IDs, flow sheets, and 3D piping models using Autodesk Plant 3D
• Conduct site surveys to gather measurements and assess existing process equipment modifications
• Design and modify piping networks to improve energy and production efficiency
• Prepare drawings for prefabrication and coordinate final modifications for manufacturing
• Produce piping isometrics and detailed manufacturing documentation
• Supervise installation phases and liaise with customers onsite to ensure project requirements are met
• Manage design phase and installation phase activities

Required Experience & Skills:

• Strong background in industrial piping and process engineering
• Proven hands-on experience with steam systems, valves, and process equipment
• Proficiency with Autodesk Plant 3D and standard Microsoft packages
• CCNSG / CSCS Site Safety
• Ability to travel across South East and South West UK sites
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills
