Join our Tunstead Cement Plant as a Mechanical Execution Engineer, leading the delivery of safe, efficient and reliable mechanical maintenance.This is a key role managing a skilled team and driving plant performance through strong planning, people leadership and continuous improvement.

What Youll Do

• Lead, coach and develop a team of 7 mechanical craftsperson
• Create weekly maintenance schedules using capacity planning
• Chair daily Production/Maintenance meetings
• Oversee safe, high-quality mechanical maintenance work
• Manage subcontractors and ensure cost-effective delivery
• Support plant improvements, shutdowns and reliability projects
• Adapt plans quickly to meet operational priorities
• Promote a strong Health & Safety culture through daily engagement
• Act as first contact for out-of-hours breakdowns
• Deputise for the Head of Mechanical when required

What Youll Bring

• Mechanical HNC/HND (Degree desirable)
• 5+ years experience at supervisor level
• Strong leadership, coaching and communication skills
• Solid understanding of mechanical maintenance principles
• Confident decision-maker in fast-paced environments
• Proficient with CMMS (SAP preferred) & Microsoft Office
• Experience with cost control & contractor management
• Cement industry experience and NEBOSH/IOSH beneficial
