Junior Project Engineer (Graduate Electrical Engineer)

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000

Location: Doncaster

Our client is currently seeking a Junior Project Engineer to join their team. This position would suit a recent graduate or junior engineer looking to gain practical experience working on electrical engineering projects.

The Role

The successful candidate will support the delivery of electrical engineering projects, working alongside senior engineers and project managers. The role offers excellent exposure to project-based work and professional development within a supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with the design and delivery of electrical engineering projects
• Producing and modifying electrical drawings using AutoCAD
• Supporting project planning, documentation, and coordination activities
• Liaising with internal teams, suppliers, and contractors
• Ensuring compliance with relevant engineering standards and specifications

Candidate Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline (or near completion)
• Some experience or exposure to electrical engineering (academic or practical)
• Experience using AutoCAD
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Good communication skills and a proactive approach to learning
