Senior Fire Engineer job in Kensington, London within a leading compliance consultancy. This hands-on role involves leading fire engineering projects from design through to implementation. Salary up to £65,000 + bonus + 29 days holiday + hybrid working.

This opportunity is with a busy, growing consultancy delivering fire engineering and building safety advice across the built environment. The team works on high-profile and complex projects across residential, commercial, education, hotel, and retail sectors - supporting clients with safe, compliant, and practical fire engineering solutions. They offer a collaborative, progressive, and supportive environment, and are open to considering candidates on a contract basis as well as permanent.

Role & Responsibilities

• Lead fire engineering projects from design through to implementation
• Produce fire strategies, fire engineering design, and CFD modelling
• Attend client and design team meetings (in person and remote)
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver compliant solutions

Required Skills & Experience

• Degree in Fire Engineering or related field
• 5+ years’ consultancy experience in fire engineering
• Chartered (CEng) or working towards
• Proven experience delivering fire engineered solutions for UK projects
• Strong knowledge of UK fire codes and regulations
• Excellent report writing skills
